The Gladstone Salsa Team
Ale - Artistic Director - Head Instructor & Founder
Ale was born in Colombia where dancing is part of the culture, and every party was based around dancing Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and more. After moving to Gladstone, to continue her love of dancing and fitness Ale trained in Pole Fitness and more extensively in exotic/sensual dance for over 2 years and now the time has come for her to live her dream of bringing more social Latin Dance to the region. In order to bring the best and most current Latin Dance techniques to Gladstone Salsa, Ale has been building on her skill base and techniques since 2020. She regularly travels to specialised workshop training in Brisbane and is currently studying under the best in Australia in both Salsa and Bachata. Ale hopes to be able to bring many of her favourite Australian Top Latin Dancers to Gladstone to share their experience as well. Ale wants to share her love for Latin Dance and her passion is now in sharing it through Gladstone Salsa with her team and all the amazing dedicated students. For fitness and fun with like minded people; nothing is more fulfilling for Ale than the happy faces and laughter of people dancing.
Victor - Instructor
Victor comes from Colombia and joined the team in 2023. Victor has been dancing for over 10 years and has trained under many of the major schools and dance stars from across Australia. His passion is Salsa. Victor regularly travels to many Dance Events and conferences across Australia including Rumbia, Doudoule, Mambo Conference and World Salsa Solo which he competed in the battles section in 2022. His high level of experience is welcomed by the Central Queensland Community.
V - Dance Instructor
Vicki comes from a background in Jazz, Tap and Ballet through to modern Heels Sensual styles of dance. Vicki spent many years working and Instructing in the modelling and photographic industries and has been Instructing Aerials, Pole and Dance Fitness for many years. She is loving the opportunity to join the Gladstone Salsa team as a Latin Instructor and help spread the word of social dance for fun and fitness.
